Ishar’s Journey

Hi, my name is Ishar. I am a Yoga and meditation teacher, author, and personal development coach. I originally started my spiritual journey at the age of 15 when I first learned how to meditate. I absolutely loved the way meditation made me feel and was hungry to learn more. After carrying out a consistent home practice for a few years, I studied under Zen masters at my local Zen buddhist center, which enriched my meditation practice. I am quite often times amazed at the simplicity and power of zazen (Zen sitting meditation).

In addition to learning how to meditate, I became certified to teach a form of Kripalu Yoga known as Prana Yoga. This style of yoga emphasizes focusing more on the inner energy body (as opposed to the overemphasis on asanas seen in many power yoga classes today). Understanding the chakras (and fixing any possible imbalances) naturally led me to study the Law of Attraction and other teachings that can help transform people’s lives.

My goal is to not only guide you through your spiritual journey, through contemplative paths such as meditation and yoga, but to also fill your life with passion, love and freedom by integrating personal development teachings.
